Cosmetic surgery is basically a normal thing these days, there’s no way around it. No matter where you look. There are over 25 different ways to complete this surgery, and every doctor is different when it comes to achieving this surgery. As of 2016, 223,018 people had this surgery completed. For this surgery you can be put out with general anesthesia which puts you to sleep, or an IV sedation which you’re awake for. Both options are available to you, and your doctor will let you know the best route for your case. This procedure can take anywhere from 1.5 – 4 hours to complete, depending on the drastic change you’re going for. Make sure you take anywhere from 7 to 10 days off after the procedure.
- Blepharoplasty (Eye Lid Surgery)
Much like rhinoplasty there are several different ways and approaches to this. It has to do with your age, face, your ethnicity, how droopy your lids may be, the crease and more. This surgery is beneficial if you’re looking to have a younger look, or if you have excess skin, or fat around your eyes. Over 209,020 people had this surgery done in 2016. Make sure you rest from 5 to 10 days after the surgery.
- Face Lift
As of 2016, 131,106 people had this done within the year. This covers several areas of the face, it helps rejuvenate youthful facial features, softens cheeks, marionette lines, and your neck. It helps reduce fat around the face and elevates the skin. This isn’t as permeant as other procedures it usually lasts 7 – 10 years. Length of recovery is about 7 -10 days.
