If you have had difficulties adapting to the new normal of working from home, this post is for you. John Crestani, a highly-rated affiliate marketer who enjoys helping people make their lives easier, strongly believes in the need to adapt to the new realities of a pandemic era.
Working from home is a reality that is here to stay. As such, we engaged John Crestani and had him share pragmatic secrets.
John, do you think the world would ever go back to how it was before the pandemic?
No, I do not think so. In the impossible event that the billions of people in the world all get vaccinated in the next 24 hours, I believe it is practically impossible for the world to go back to the ‘old normal.’
Working from home is part of this ‘new normal’. So, it is not surprising that some reputable companies have announced that some of their workers can work from home for the rest of their work lives even after the pandemic becomes a thing of the past.
Off the top of your head, what do you suggest would increase productivity while working from home?
Whenever I am asked this question, my answer is simple. While working from home, you have to deceive yourself that you are at work, even though you are home. How do you do this? By creating a workspace devoid of distractions.
So, what you do is set apart a portion of your home devoted to working such that your brain can associate that location with work. This way, you can be as productive or even more productive while in the four walls of your comfort zone.
To you, John, what is the most exciting fact about working from home?
What is most exciting about working from home is the freedom to use my time just as I please while engaging in what I call ‘passionate self-employment.’ As I’ve mentioned on my website, the world needs to accelerate towards an economy based on passionate self-employment.
I mean that like never before, working from home allows me to secure my regular income and make enough money by the side to afford the life that I truly desire. I share secrets on making this passionate self-employment a reality by tapping into the internet’s immense wealth in my new book – Work at Home Secrets.
Several challenges come with working from home, which would you say is the most daunting?
I’d go for procrastination. If I’m asked, procrastination thrives in a disorganized mental environment bereft of clear and specific action plans. My simple solution is to know what I want and what I have to do to get what I want.
As we wrap off, what three words best describe your new book ‘Work at Home Secrets’?
Value, freedom, and empowerment while making extraordinary income. This book is not just another title on making money online. The only way you can find out is to get the book for yourself.
