Apria Healthcare Group, Inc., a leading provider of home respiratory equipment, oxygen therapy, and related services, held its 25th birthday gala to celebrate 25 years of service to the chronic respiratory disease patient population. The gala, held at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, was hosted by Dan Starck, Apria’s Chief Executive Officer.
“Apria is pleased to be celebrating its 25th birthday this month with our valued patients and their caregivers,” said Starck. “This year also marks Apria Healthcare Group’s 20-year affiliation with the DaVita Medical Group, America’s largest dialysis provider. Since 1990, we have worked together to expand access to home healthcare services for many underserved populations.”
Apria is marking its anniversary by sharing testimonials from patients who have benefited from Apria’s services and expertise.
“Apria has been a lifesaver for me,” said Mary Beth Brinsmead of San Diego, CA, who is living with COPD due to smoking. “I can’t imagine how I would get my breathing treatments if I didn’t have Apria coming out every month.”
“I love the personalized service Apria provides,” said Lisa Forman of Irvine, CA. “I have Amy assist me with my nebulizers twice a day, which has made it so much easier to manage my asthma.”
“Without Apria, I couldn’t receive my oxygen,” said Luigi Massi, who has been diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and congestive heart failure. “I am so grateful for the service Apria provides.”
Apria is also marking its anniversary by giving back to the community in many ways. For 25 years, Apria has been committed to making a positive impact on the communities in which it serves. Apria will continue this commitment by investing in its employees, patients, and the community through the launch of several volunteer initiatives and charitable programs.
“Apria is proud to serve America’s home healthcare needs,” Starck said, “and we are excited about our future.”
