Easter Egg Basket Card
Materials
- Brown construction paper
- Pastel green construction paper
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions:
- Fold your pastel green construction paper in half. This will be your card.
- On your brown construction paper, measure ¼-inch strips. Cut the strips using your scissors.
- On another sheet of brown construction paper, measure ¼-inch strips but leave out an inch on both of the long sides of the paper. This will make weaving the basket easier.
- Weave your strips through the paper to create the basket pattern. Once all of your strips have been weaved, trace a basket shape (half-moon) that will fit on the front of your card using your pencil.
- As you cut the shape, secure the basket by glueing down all the loose ends.
- Stick your basket onto the front of your card using your glue. You can use an extra strip of brown construction paper to form the handle of the basket. Optional: Fill your basket with Easter eggs!
- Don’t forget to write a message for your loved ones inside the card!
